Its been a long-waited rejoicement for the south shore to finally light up further securing the fact that summer has finally arrived upon us. A solid 4-6ft SSW swell made itself known one day prior to the forecast which stayed above advisory for the south shore for two days. The usual spots seen more than its share of people while others had its own share of crowds.
Ironically the North Shore had some fun to be had with a small swell maxing out in the head high range which was just enough to spread the crowds out nicely around the island.
We gathered a small gallery from photographers and videographers from spots around the island and how some of them deal with crowds to make the hyped swell manageable for all.

Blessed to have the ocean and epic surf that surrounds us. Nothing better than surfing with my keiki. It’s my kuleana to pass down an ocean that’s cleaner then the one I received.
