Assorted Rides | Devon Howard from Drew Miller on Vimeo.
Sometimes taking a step-back in order to move forward is a solid approach to conjuring new ideas and moving forward with personal creativity. From the calm, cool, and collected vision of talented lensman, Drew Miller, who is inspired by the use of dramatic backlighting and color accents by the likes of legendary photographers LeRoy Grannis and Ron Stoner, Drew hones in on the timeless look of the past in collaboration with style guru Devon Howard in their new film "Assorted Rides."
This short about Devon's small but very useful quiver from longboards to mid-lengths showcasing the two designs and how they work best in small to well-overhead size surf. "I’m still passionate about learning what works, what doesn’t, then plugging that back into the never ending design loop. The stoke for staying on the surf prowl explains why the boards and the ride itself just keeps getting better," says Devon on board design.
